The war is making it hard for all of us mentally. I don´t think that any of us really knows how to cope with the war. Many people like myself probably find it hard to relax not knowing what is happening around us. When will the next siren go off, when will the next missile fall and where will it be? For example, I can´t sleep. I am awake most of the night waiting for the next siren. Also, during the daytime, it is hard to relax. These things are affecting me and most other people. However, it’s easy for me to sit here and tell you how I am feeling, at the same time, I am aware that for many others in places which have actually been affected by missiles, it is a very different story.
Faith is something we the Jewish Nation have to have, during the hard times we are experiencing at the moment. Recognizing these challenges doesn´t mean that I don´t have faith in God, I have strong faith. The power of Faith is something that we all have to build up within ourselves and be able to transmit to others. We have to believe that God is ruling the world and whatever he decides to do is for the best for all of us. Sometimes, we can´t see and understand the way He is working, but that doesn´t mean that we shouldn´t have complete faith in Him.
Immediately after the Simchat Torah massacre in 2023 that faith in God started to waver among many Jews in Israel. Thousands of Jews decided to flee the country. So instead of being in the Jewish Homeland where God always protect us, they decided to leave, to countries where it is life threatening to be a Jew. Where antisemitism is visible everywhere and you can´t show in public that you are a Jew.
If we haven´t seen the miracles in our battle against Iran and God´s strong Hand we must be blind. The Middle Eastern military power Iran has fallen like a card house. Israel has total control over the Iranian air space. Many of the Iranian missiles have been eliminated before even entering Israeli air space, and of those that have fallen, some have fallen into empty car parks, or wards of hospitals that had recently been evacuated. Every casualty is a tragedy, but the thought is there, that it could have been much, much worse. If this is not a miracle from God, I don´t know what to call it. Thanks to God and his IAF, we will soon get rid of the threat from the Middle East. As soon as Iran is a memory of the distant past, the rest of the Arab countries in the region will be too scared to stand up against Israel. This will lead to a more stable and calmer region for everyone.
So, don´t ever give up on your faith in God. He is the Ruler of the world and everything He does is for the good of the Jewish Nation and the world.
