After some time away from blogging I have decided to go back to do what I am good at and that is to write about life in Israel. I have been living in this wonderful country now for nearly 20 years. It´s here my children are raised to become proud Jews. Israel is the only land we have and it is here G-d wants the Jewish nation to live. No excuse is good enough not to live as proud Jews in our homeland. G-d gave the Land of Israel to Avraham and generations after generations we have kept this land is our possession. No one can tell us that the land of Israel isn’t ours. You don’t have to be a religious Jew to understand that Israel is ours and only ours. It’s enough to read the Torah as a historical book to understand the connection between G-d, the Torah, and the land of Israel.
I have decided to live in the Judea Dessert, in Har Hevron, a small community called Maon. We are located in the area called Mount Hevron. If you fold a map of Israel we are right in the middle.
Sure, we are far away from what today is called the central part off Israel, Tel Aviv but we have a high-quality life. We are located 45 minutes from Be’er Sheva and just over an hour from Jerusalem.
