Don´t run away
Unfortunately, many Israelis especially new immigrants decided to leave Israel because of the war with Hamas and Hezbollah. Did they honestly assume that the situation would be better in the darkness of Galut? As Jews, we always have a moral and Torah obligation to stay and live in Israel. In Galut, the antisemitism is on such a high level that Jews are afraid to leave their homes. They can´t walk around freely any longer. This is in the whole of Chutz La´aretz and not only in specific countries. It is not only the Muslim population that is against us, nearly everyone is. At least in Israel, even with daily rocket attacks both in the North and in Gaza we can still more or less feel safe.
When Jews decide to leave Israel it is a disgrace of God´s name. God gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people to live in. That some of us were born abroad doesn´t change the requirement that all of us need to live in Israel. When Jews decide to leave the Holy Land for any reason it is like they don´t believe in God any longer. They believe that their faith is in their own hands but it is not true. We have to believe in God with full faith that whatever ever happening in Israel has a meaning and we have to stay strong in our beliefs and stay here.
No Jew in Galut can fulfill the Torah commandments as the Jews in Israel can. The Torah is meant to be kept here and whoever lives in the diaspora is kind of keeping the Torah but not for real. So when you are running away from Israel you are running away from God and his Torah. You don´t any longer believe in it. This is very tragic. How can religious Jews lose their faith in God because of a war? In war times we have to even stand stronger together and pray to God for our success.
So please fellow brothers and sisters who ran away or are running away, you are losing your faith in God. Keep strong with God and he will protect you.
