If you currently can´t settle and conquer the land of Israel you have to help out in other ways
We have a Torah commandment to conquer and settle the land of Israel and this commandment equal all commandments in the Torah. Unfortunately, this commandment is not for everyone. First of all far to many Jews in the darkness of Galut don´t have any plans at all to keep this commandment. Not only are they not willing to keep it, they are not even interested in helping the Jews in the land of Israel to keep it.
To live in Israel is a great mitzwaqure h and for all of us who have made Aliya is a tremendous mitzwah. We are following in Avraham´s foot steps to leave from your land and settle in the land of Israel. No one can take away the importance of this commandment. But is it enough to only live in the country, to settle the land but not to conquer. The Ramban said that the mitzwah is one and not two. You have to conquer and not only to settle the land of Israel. Does that mean that the people who not necessary are conquering the land can´t fulfill the commandment? No it´s not. Like many other commandments in the Torah other Jews can perform the commandment for you and this mitzwah is no different.
We have different ways that we can perform commandments. I strongly believe that we all have many different ways to be part of this important mission to conquer the land.
First of all, in educating our children we can inspire them to move to places in Israel where Jewish life is needed. It doesn´t have to be in Judea and Samaria. It can equally be Negev or Gallil. We need a lot of Jews living there and establish communities and Jewish life. To encourage them to do it is a part of fulfilling the commandment of conquer and settling the land of Israel. If we are not settling there the Arabs will settle the land.
If children doesn´t want to move there we have an obligation to donate money to organizations and private people who commit to the commandments of conquering and settling the land of Israel. We have to understand that to undertake and build communities or decide to live in communities in the middle of no way has financial consequences and we have to help out. It is not easy to live in remote places but we have no right to say that this specific mitzwah is not for me. If I can´t myself then I have to make sure to help someone who wants to do it. You can also help out by buying and renting out houses and apartments in the different areas. In this way you can help couples who can´t afford to buy to rent and be a part of settling in these important areas. You should do it without profit in mind, because if profit is important than the right purpose is not there.
For example me, since I got married, I live most of the time in Yad Binyamin, but my wife and I still keep the house in Maon where I lived before getting re-married since it is important for us.
