To live in Judea and Samaria
Some people call us settlers and many times we also hear that we are extremists. This is very far from the truth. We are just normal Jews that understand the importance of settling the whole of Israel just as God wants us to do. To live in Judea and Samaria is to fulfill the commandment of settling and conquer the land. Every new house that we build strengthen our presence in the Holy Land. We have to build more and more settlements to make sure that the Jewish presence in the Holy Land and especially Judea and Samaria will be stronger and stronger. Today we have nearly 150 different communities and many outposts spread out from Tal Menashe in the north to Tene Omarim in the south.
Why to live in Judea and Samaria
There are many reasons for us Jews to live in Judea and Samaria. Except that you will find real quality life you also fulfill the commandment of conquering the Land. If we are not settling the land the Arabs will take the land from us and this is a disaster. We must settle every meter of th Land of Israel. We have to build out current settlements as well as build new ones. Hopefully, the government of Israel will understand the importance of and help in all ways to establish new settlements and legalize the settlements that are not yet legal according to the State.
Life in Judea and Samaria
to live in a settlement is very different from living in a city. Here you don´t have to worry when your children run freely to their friends. Also often the community is very strong and people really feel that they belong in the settlement they are living in. I don´t know a lot about the communities in Samaria and Binyamin but in Har Hevron, you usually have very strong communities. The community arranges a lot of activities for the people living there. For example, in Maon where I live, the community celebrates for example always Yom Haázmaut (Israel Independence day) together and also Lag BaOmer. This is very nice and it strengthens the community.
